I purchased a large number of these journal/pen sets to give as gifts to speakers at a professional conference where the theme involved using storytelling in community development. I was a bit nervous because you never know from just a photo whether things like this are going to be beautiful or cheaply made junk. It turns out I was nervous over nothing, because these were a wonderful gift! The pens are gorgeous, the journals a great find for anyone who wants something they can use on the spur of the moment, and even the box was a beautiful gift in and of itself. I definitely recommend this set!

Gave as a gift and was told later it was his favorite of all the gifts he got. Couldn’t tell his thought right off and I think it was because he was in awe. He is going to switch out luggage to match journal! What a unique and keepsake journal. My son saw it and wanted one too but they were out of stock already. Great quality and is awesome that you can get refill pages! One of the best purchases!

This is such a beautiful journal. The leather is high quality. I love that the writing paper is sectioned and replaceable as it is filled up. The rosewood pen that came with it is very nice and a great compliment to the journal. I would highly recommend this journal set whether for a gift or yourself.

The journal is everything I expected. Good quality leather and paper and arrives in a nice sleeve-type box. Does not have that leather smell that needs airing out. It will be a gift for my adult nephew who has had major life changes this year.
