Isasar Wall Mounted Folding Table Space Saver Fold Out Convertible Desk (White)

What with Covid and all, we had a little work table at the front door for deliveries to be set on. Started with food delivery and then boxes and mail. Turns out to be extremely handy. Except that there was a 3 foot square table sitting at the side of our front door, blocking the ramp for my wife's wheelchair. Okay, not heavy, can move it around. Yeah, getting older and unsteadier, so with my luck I'd fall down the steps. Looked around for something hinged to fold out of the way and found this little table. About the only thing we could find actually. Reviews were pretty good, but no other option, so went for it. Nice size table, just make sure you (or in our case, our contractor) can either read Chinese or figure it out by sight. Our guys figured it out just fine. Had to cut down one of the legs to get it level on the ramp. It folds up nice and tight against the house, doesn't even extend over the lip of the brick facia. They had to jury rig a couple of things to work with the vinyl siding on the house, sliding wood under the siding to make everything look really good. Only problem (not a real one though) is the release button. Kind of temperamental due to needing a wood spacer because of the siding. May end up replacing it with an old-fashioned barrel slide. Looks really nice, sturdy and should last for a long time.

This table is heavy and has no resistance to slowly lower. Flimsy legs do not stay open. Even with wall anchors, if you do not manually, slowly lower table it could rip the anchors out of the wall. Without resistance, this has the potential to fall on someone and cause an injury. Because of this, I would not install it and asked for a prepaid return label. They would not provide so I had to pay. It took 3 months before they approved return. Do not do business with this China based company.

This table is perfect for what I need. My dining room in my little 1br apartment is also my workspace, so I wanted a place to eat for two that I could tuck away as needed. The only disappointment I can’t blame the manufacturers for - it arrived damaged. The package must have been dropped or thrown, because the corner was smashed when I opened it. Packaging it back up and returning it wouldn’t be worth it. I’ll have to figure out a DYI fix for the corner. Also, I installed it myself. But it would have much easier with two people.

1) Desk is solid & well-built, which was why I went with a higher price compared to other similar products that had questionable reviews. 2) Instructions are in an Asian language 3) Doesn’t take a genius to install. Just make sure you use a stud finder to locate studs that are 16 inches on center. Pre-drill holes and then fasten wall mounts which are attached to the table. 4) Included suspension bolt doesn’t work well at all with drywall ( but is probably great for masonry). Pick up a Weather seal sash lock (window lock, see picture) and EZ Anchor (item 11364) from Lowe’s to fasten the screws into. 5) I had to raise the window lock slightly using door shims (thin pieces of wood) to keep the hook from scratching the wood. I might put another one on the right side as a failsafe.

The table was about what you would expect- actually I thought it would work where I needed it perfect. But when I opened it there was 2 big dings in wood from shipping. Still I thought I'd use it. I hung it up and realized the clasp that holds it to the wall when up didn't stay closed... then I thought I would just replace that. Lastly , I opened it and "locked" the legs open and in the lock position they kept folding to close. I finally took it down and returned it... waiting on another style to arrive now

Particle board poorly pressed. Do not make a mistake mounting this or it's over.

Just what you would expect from the price. It arrived well packaged and fully assembled. Mounting was easy, but be prepared to get anchors that match your wall conditions. They do include anchors, but of dubious quality.

This is a quality table. I think that it will function well for me for a very long time. The unit does not come with instructions, but it is fairly easy to figure out.
