Nice simple reference for Construction math
The formulas are a bit to the simple side but well laid out. Print is small, so there is a bit more than seen at first glance.I have over a quarter century in the biz, so I don't anticipate using too often, but I can see me grabbing for it say once a month.

Good Geometric Pics & Explanations BUT Bad Percentage Math
The author, Chris Prince, claims to be pointing out a mistake that is commonly made in estimating a bid that would be 32% higher than the cost of the project. However, he falls prey to a very common misunderstanding. The bid of $117.647.06 that he calculates is NOT 32% higher than the $80,000 cost. If you divide his bid by the cost, you will get just over 1.47, indicating a bid that is 47% above cost. The cost is 32% lower than the bid, but that does NOT equate to a 32% profit. If you want the bid to be 32% higher than the cost, multiply the cost by 1.32. DO NOT divide the cost by 0.68 as he suggests. The mistake comes from flipping what is the part and what is the whole. In this case the cost should be the whole and the desired % is 132.There are other mistakes on the chart, but they look like simple typos (for example the formula for the area of the trapezoid needs a '+' in the parens instead of a 'x').
