Well designed - does what I need - easy to fit cable to it - access screws and inner terminals easily loosened and tightened - feels secure and well made. Should last a good many years

We use SO many four ways and other distro when laying out DJ systems, live stages, decor lighting and so on. They have to be ROBUST and BLACK.These seem very robust and are 100% compliant with safety testing (PAT/BS/et al).They wire up easily and the cable retention is OK to GOOD.They are also considerably cheaper than some other brands of this quality.100% recommended. We will keep buying these each month.

Wiring was easy - you only take out two screws at the cable end to access the terminals.Everything fits together well and it seems very solid and probably durable. The Orange and Black make it very visible.

This product is branded as Permaplug but has the Masterplug logo and email address on the cover. I bought 2 of these 4 socket extensions and a Masterplug 6 socket extension. On receipt I examined them. I found the Permaplug to be sturdier than the Masterplug. The material used appears to be heavier. The cable cover on the Permaplug is secured by machine screws. The Masterplug is secured with self taping screws which through time could become less secure. The Permaplug cover tightly slots in prior to being screwed up making it even more secure. In a similar fashion to remote control covers. It does not fall off when unscrewed it has to slide back to release it. The cable grips and terminal screws are much the same on both products and each have a wiring diagram on the casing. The Permaplug also has a paper diagram in cable cover. It shows how to remove the fuse fitted in the case. The Masterplug is not fused.Both products have 2 slotted fixings to the rear. The type you screw the screws into a wall and slot the extension down onto the screws.My award goes to the Permaplug and it is the one I would choose if buying again.Points to note is this is a self wire product so you will need a 13amp plug and cable to use it. The advantage of this is you can tailor it to your needs and make the cable as long or short as you want.The product description clearly shows this.I would certainly buy again.
