Mr. Gerstel's approach to preparing estimates is to create your own formula's using Microsoft Excel, He presents an excellent approach to achieving that goal to those who are not afraid to dig into the mechanics of Excel, which can be daunting to a beginner. If you are a contractor, this publication's focus will help you do exactly what it's title promises "Nail Your Numbers".

The author has good information to beginners but lacks concise language. Though I believe examples are important, I’d rather not spend my time reading through more than needed. Lastly there were formatting and typos that I encountered.
