I have only had this a few days, but this does produce a UV light as described, i have tested this against UV pens and money for security markings and both show up well.I dont think there is a whole lot more i can say about a light, UV or otherwise, but it does work as described, suits my needs and works well with security pens - which was all i wanted it for.

This shows up security pen markings well, and is much safer than a pure UV light as there is a purple visible component to the emitted light, reducing the chance of accidental eye injury. It does tend to flicker rather badly but it works fine.

This light worked well when it first arrived - after a short while the light started flickering when the button was pressed. The light then ceased to work entirely. Could just be the batteries out, but it lasted less than a day, and considering the cost of it there's no point in buying and installing a new battery.

Doesn't work as well as the 365 one on detecting the marks shown on a real note needs to be pretty dark outside for u to see it

The battery in this one has lasted for years now. I'm really impressed.
