No problems. No plug necessary. Powers through USB. You do also need to plug it into the audio out jack, at least on my TV (Samsung).

This device works great...once I got it installed. It's important to know that no other blue tooth devices should be around during the installation. Once you have achieved the connection it does stay connected.

Hasn't been recognized on either of the devices I tried it on. I really can't say if it doesn't work or just wasn't compatible.

Should have read the reviews before I bought it. This device is a POS and will not pair with my MPow wireless headphones. Will also not work with my SmartTV although no way to check since it won't pair. I am assuming it will not. Tried it on my Intel based PC. Recognized the device but again will not pair with my MPow earbuds.

Not compatible with my SMART TV. Will not sync with blue tooth headphones at all. Going to try when we buy another TV for living room.

Could not get it to sync with anything. I wanted to use it with my TV, which did not work, but I also tried using it with my computer. Could not get it to synch with portable speakers or head phones
