can it be used on metal

Regin is a well known brand for test equipment and supplies to the gas industry. The Regin fluid in question is to use in a manometer gauge. As far as I am aware the fluid has no other purpose. I hope this helps.

Can I use this in monument u gauge ?

This fluid did not work in the Regin gauge I was using ,the specific must have been different however I do not bother with this type of gauge any longer and have gone back to using a standard water gauge which dosnt matter if you lose the fluid . you can always use car screen wash to get a nice sky blue colour at not much cost . Only to be used with certain u-gauges

Wasn't made clear that this is only for regular u-gauges. If you have a gauge with anti blow back or anti spill it will just hang around in clumps. It's clear on the product with warnings but not clear on amazon.
