New Horrizon - Touch Screen Glass Digitizer Assembly For Apple iPad 5 Air 5th Generation (Installed Home Button, Adhesive, Tools Included) (Black)

I don't normally write reviews, always too busy. Had to make the effort to write this review because I'm so pleased with this digitizer touch screen it saved me from buying a new tablet. I'll explain why. I've previously replaced the digitizer screen on my iPad about four times, bought from different supplies and each time had dead zone problems and keyboard and apps opening by themselves on two different replacement digitizer screens This purchase was my last resort. If it didn't sort the problems then my iPad would be going in bin. This screen from New Horrizon is brilliant in every way no dead zones, beautiful resolution, its like I have a new iPad. If I need to replace my digitizer screen every again i will be ordering it from this company. Thank you for a wonderful product New Horrizon.

I am writing this review on the very screen being reviewed so you can gather that installation was successful and is working correctly to an extent. However:1. The screen is very unresponsive toward the top few centimetres, such that typing the letters "a" and "q" using the keyboard in landscape mode is very temperamental.2. The home button does not fit securely like the original and moves about quite considerably while sitting a mm or two below the surface of the screen. I feel that this could easily become totally dislodged over time,3. Be aware that this digitiser has visible horizontal lines running across the screen at 5mm intervals which the original did not have and I was not expecting.I purchased this screen for around £15 thinking I would be repairing my iPad Air back to original condition for a bargain. However, looking back I wish I had paid the extra for a genuine Apple replacement.

What can I say. I ordered it on the 22nd April and it arrived on the 25th, five days earlier than the expected delivery date.This screen is by far the best quality replacement screen I have fitted on an iPad Air and it was nice to have the home button already installed and to have the adhesive tape also already in place.The screen is crystal clear and fits in so easily.

Fantastic service and product. I have replaced iPad screens before, so to find one with ready installed home button and adhesive for such a great price was a very pleasant surprise. It made the process so much easier and less time consuming. The screen was well packaged and arrived in good time. If the need ever arises again, to replace another screen (fingers crossed it won't) I will certainly be ordering from this company again. Thank you New Horizon full marks!

A and s button area when in landscape mode don’t work any more. Home button collapsed and stopped working around a week after fitting, thankfully you can work around this by enabling the virtual home buttonFinally removed this screen after around 9 months of frustration and fitted an alternative one

Touch capacitor stopped working after 1 month so now need to replace again. Home button not as good quality as the original.

Great item at a great price with my clumsy boys I should probably put in a standing order
