Cute lamp, however, using a standard candescent bulb will not allow the shade to go back on easily (would need a very short bulb). Also the cord is yellow, transparent yellow but bright and way too obvious for a white lamp. There were also a few rough splotches of ceramic - these were not stylized 'shabby' but just blobs that should have been removed. I was very surprised and expected better quality; one reason I bought it was 'made in USA.' Sent it back.
