MagSafe magnets do not work. I don't think they are magnets. Get for the case not for magnets.
In terms of just the case, it's a decent case and looks reasonably good, too. The back of the case is easily scratched with just a finger. The magnets absolutely do not work. There seem to be some small iron pellets in the case, but it doesn't seem like magnets. Even after I put a magnet on this, it cannot hold enough to lift the case which is very light. Go for it if MagSafe is not your requirement but just want a case.
