Does this come with a UK plug? Thanks

It comes with an UK adaptor fitted from us.

Why does it require a 12v battery? (“Technical details” states that a12v battery is required, batteries are not supplied and not rqd.)

Hi, not a clue why the 12v is specified. This is a straight 240 volt tool, so no worries there. Mine however came with a continental 2 pin plug (naughty) easy solved with a converter plug or re wire but only if you are confident to do that.

Good quality for short running periods

Nice and handy. Stable and precise. Noise level is above expectation but still acceptable. Not for long continuous work periods - transmission got very hot after 7 minutes of run time.
