Matte Gray Iron Oxide Pigment Powder, Concrete Pigment, Grout Dye, Color Dye for Cement Epoxy Stucco Plaster Mortar Paint Coating- 5 Oz, Grey

Product came packaged in bag in a foil bag. No instructions but I figured it out with some Google help. It worked perfectly (turning white thinset into a nice dark brown). Will buy again when it's time for more repairs (this is setting stone into a waterfall + pond). One five pound bag of pigment was plenty/enough for a 50 lb bag of fortified thin set. Be careful, this stuff will dye anything it touches (clothes, gloves, tools, concrete floor, stone).

Straight up flat real brown coloring. Does not come out looking bronze. Easy to mix into resin and gives an opaque matte brown coloring.

Okay there’s a little bit of a learning curve, so start with a small amount adding into your white grout. It’s very messy so be prepared or you’ll be wearing it and washing it off your piece forever …like me 🤭

We spent $750 on real flagstone in our back yard project but needed another $650-$700 in additional flagstone to complete our walkway. We decided to make our own flagstone using vertical blinds as forms that we shaped, bagged concrete and this incredible dye to turn the concrete black by spreading about 2 -3 tablespoons of dye to the top of the freshly poured concrete. Total cost was about $100 in concrete, $20 for the vertical blinds and the coat of the dye. Get creative and save a ton of money by making your own flagstone pavers. The dye comes in various colors.

It was nice, I just need to figure out how much to use each time. 1st time I used too much, lol

This Brown Iron Oxide powder came in a bag that made it super easy to access when I needed it. The powder mixed easily into the plaster I was working with and you get a lot of it.
