This device comes with no instructions, the listing pictures show a previous version, as do the videos on YouTube. I have attempted to write an instruction sheet I hope it helps.LX-PD01 - V6.2 INSTRUCTIONSDANGER MISUSE OF THIS DEVICE WILL DESTROY THINGS PLUGGED INTO IT. Before connecting the output to the device you are powering ensure the correct voltage is set, that it can’t be altered with the buttons and that it remains set and locked after the LX-PD01 has been disconnected and reconnected to the charger.This device sets the output from BOTH its USB-A and USB-C ports to a voltage derived from a PD USB-C power supply. If you connect something that can’t take the voltage it will burn out and it is very unusual to get more than 5V out of a USB-A port! PD signalling from the receiving device will not be recognised by the charger and will not protect it.FOR THE SAFETY OF CONNECTED DEVICES IT IS ADVISED TO KEEP THE LX-PD01 IN “LOCKED” mode, even though it is harder to set when this is done.Selectable output voltages are: 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V - as indicated by a white LEDs.Setting the voltage and lock modes requires use of the “S+” button, the “S-” button and applying and removing power.If, when you apply power to the LX-PD01, no changes can be made using the S+ and S- buttons it is in the “LOCKED” mode. To temporarily unlock it hold down S+ and briefly press S-. Once unlocked repeated pressing of S+ will move UP through the voltages and repeated pressing of S- will move DOWN. Once you have set the desired voltage the LX-PD01 is still vulnerable to a button being accidentally pressed which could damage something. To prevent this happening disconnect and reconnect the power. It will then re-enter “LOCKED” mode at the voltage you set and the buttons will be ineffective.If, when you apply power to the LX-PD01, it is possible to make changes to the voltage using the S+ and S- buttons it is in the “UNLOCKED” mode. Repeated pressing of S+ will move UP through the voltages and repeated pressing of S- will move DOWN. Once you have set the desired voltage you can temporarily lock the LX-PD01 by holding down S- and briefly pressing S+. To temporarily unlock it hold down S+ and briefly press S-. If the LX-PD01 is disconnected the chosen voltage will remain set when it is reconnected, but irrespective of whether it was temporarily locked or unlocked when power was removed the buttons will now be unlocked and the voltage could be accidentally changed.Screen printed on the back of the PCB are instructions for use:“>>” means apply power“>” means brief press“S-≫5V”Holding down S- whilst applying power (≫) will set the output to 5V and this will be locked, or unlocked, depending on the LOCK state of the LX-PD01, but it is a safe voltage to start with!“S+≫LKEN”To alternate between “LOCKED” and “UNLOCKED” hold down S+ whilst applying power (≫). The voltage will default to 5V, BUT when the LX-PD01 is disconnected and reconnected a second time the stored voltage will return and be either locked, or unlocked. There is no indicator to show the locked mode is active, but if the buttons don’t work it is locked.“S+S-≫LOOP”This is a test mode. Holding down both S+ and S- whilst applying power (≫) will cycle through all the voltages available from the power supply.“S+>S- UNLOCK”Holding down S+ whilst briefly pressing (>) S- will temporarily unlock the buttons.“S->S+ LOCK”Holding down S- whilst briefly pressing (>) S+ will temporarily lock the buttons. The lock mode will not be kept when the device is disconnected.

It's small and light - I should have used an extension lead to go from this unit to the power supply as the weight of the cable out looks a little too heavy for this unit. But it does the job just fine.

For instance, if you connect to a charger or powerbank that's only capable of delivering 5V, 9V and 12V and then select 15V or 20V, it displays 15 or 20V as selected. So check the voltage before connecting a fussy load!
