Really like the design and seems to be well made and is comfortable.

Good quality for the price. Nice material, the patterns are unique and wide selection, They run pretty much true to size (4.5/5 stars). I’m a 34 and the XL is just right, so the 34-36 range they claim might be a little tight on someone else who is a 35/36.

These Amazon swim trunks are an absolute steal — they look and feel just like expensive brands , but without the steep price tag. The 5.5” inseam is perfect for that modern, above-the-knee fit that’s flattering and stylish without being too short. The material is lightweight, quick-drying, and surprisingly high quality — ideal for pool days, beach trips, or backyard BBQs. They come in a ton of fun prints and bold colors, so it’s easy to find a pair that matches your vibe. The elastic waistband and drawstring combo keeps everything secure without being tight or uncomfortable. Bonus points for deep pockets that actually hold your phone or wallet without falling out! If you’re looking for expensive brand-style trunks without breaking the bank, these are 100% the move.

Over 30 days ago, I purchased two maamgic men’s 5-inch swim trunk w/ compression liner, medium size. My primary purpose was to use them for swimming laps, but I also wear them as gym workout shorts. FIT: These are NOT baggy shorts so there is no noticeable drag when swimming laps. If you are short in height. These are great. I wear a 29-inch pants inseam so the 5-inch or the 7-inch shorts would have fitted me. Since I was going to use them primarily for swimming, I purchased the 5-inch (when I measured, the length was close to 6 inches) shorts for more comfort and less drag. If you’re short in height with muscular thighs, the 5-inch will look good on you. If you’re taller and got skinny legs, the 7-inch shorts might be a better option. The maamgic swim trunks have two front mesh pockets, a zippered back mesh pocket, and a 4 x 8-inch phone pocket on the compression liner. As a workout short, the pockets are nice to have for small items like keys, drivers license, paper money, etc. Hot water (hot tub) and chlorine (hot tub / swimming pool) are the two biggest destroyers (color fading and weakening of fabric) of swim trunks. I purchased two SOLID colored shorts so that if the color fades, they won’t look as bad compared to bright colored patterned shorts when they fade. Brand new, the medium size shorts seemed to be a good fit for my 32-inch waist. They have an elastic waist band and a draw string. The more I wear them, the compression liner and the elastic waist band have stretched out more and more and they’ve become looser. The draw string needs to be cinched tight and knotted to keep the trunk secure around my waist. Instead of a medium, on my next purchase, I might order a SMALL size. After 30-days, the maamgic have satisfied my expectations. Their long-term durability is still a question, but the fabric and overall quality seems to be very good. The quality is comparable to more expensive and popular name brand swim trunks. For the price, and its intended use as swim and workout shorts, I’d buy them again without hesitation. UPDATE: I purchased TWO more. My first two did NOT have zippered front pockets; but they did have a zippered back pocket. My two latest purchases have zippered front pockets, but NO back pockets. The maamgic Amazon product page does NOT specifically identify which ones have zippered front pockets. The only way that I was able to identify those with front zippers was to look at the individual photo of the front pocket for the zipper. I use the two non-zippered front pocket trunks for swimming. I use the zippered front pocket ones for outdoor walking / hiking / jogging. The zippered front pocket gives me some assurance that my keys and wallet won't fall out when doing outdoor activities.

Context: I am 5'9" and 185lb, been told I have a fat ahh. These fit perfectly. The material is better than expected. It's thick and stretchy - heavier than it looks, but in a good way. Crotch area is great, you don't have to rearrange or wear something underneath to keep things arranged properly. Overall, a great product. Looking at getting a second pair.

I'll be honest — I almost didn't buy these. I'd just spent $79 on a pair of Chubbies, which everyone raves about, and figured nothing in the $30 range could compete. I was wrong. The Maamgic trunks match the Chubbies in almost every way that matters — the fit, the length, the overall look — but the feature that sealed it for me is the liner. No mesh. A real, soft boxer brief liner that actually feels like you're wearing something comfortable underneath. That alone is a game changer for an all-day beach or boat day. I wore these for a full day out on the water — in and out of the bay, sitting on a wet boat, walking around in the sun — and they performed flawlessly. Dried fast, didn't bunch, didn't ride up, and still looked put together by the end of the day. At $29.99 versus $79.50 for a comparable pair from a "premium" brand, the value here is genuinely hard to argue with. I'm already planning to grab two or three more pairs in different colors before summer hits. When a product makes you reconsider every previous purchase decision, that's how you know it's the real deal. If Maamgic is listening — you've got a loyal customer. And honestly? Let's talk. 😄

Bought for my husband. He likes them, even the liner which he didn’t think he would care for. I think they are flattering on him. Nice above the knee length but not short.
