I just had an amazing road trip, and I have to give credit where it's due – the Perflex Cargo Box was a big part of what made it so smooth and enjoyable. First off, this cargo box fit like a glove on my Subaru. It looked sleek and aerodynamic, like it was meant to be there. Less clutter in the car, more peace of mind. Now, let's talk convenience. The dual-side opening feature was a game-changer. Whether I was parked in a cramped campground or on a busy street, I could access my gear from either side without any hassle. And installation? Piece of cake. Even for someone like me who's not exactly a DIY expert, getting it mounted securely was a breeze. And once it was on, it stayed put – even through some rough terrain. Now, as for space, it held everything I needed for the trip and then some. No more cramming stuff into the backseat or leaving things behind. And while I did consider options from others, this box won me over. Their comparison chart seem to be spot on. So, if you're gearing up for your next adventure and want to travel with ease and style, I highly recommend giving this box a try. It's a game-changer, plain and simple.

I was really disappointed with this rooftop cargo box. It looks nice and has good potential, but mine arrived missing several rivets on the hinges, which made it impossible to use as-is. I had to buy my own nuts and bolts just to make it functional. For something this large and expensive, it should come complete and ready to install. Quality control clearly needs improvement — not worth the hassle. Honestly, I would return it if it weren’t so big and such a hassle to ship back. Disappointed overall.

I accidentally broke my Thule and needed a replacement for my upcoming road trip. I ordered this one and received it within 2 days, arriving just 24 hours before my trip. When I returned, I unloaded it and attached it to the garage holder. I must say, I was genuinely pleased with the purchase. An additional advantage was that it could be accessed from both sides. The increased space accommodated all of my luggage, inflatable kayaks, and our food for the camping trip. It served as our primary storage solution and even provided a way to secure food from potential bear encounters. All four of us had keys to access it whenever required. I drove at speeds exceeding 75 mph, and it did not affect the car's balance. Everything remained secure and in place, thanks to the straps within the box. The cargo box endured a couple of heavy storms, and all the contents inside remained dry. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. This cargo box has demonstrated its reliability as a suitable replacement for my old box. I highly recommend it to those with large families like mine who embark on outdoor trips throughout the year, both in summer and winter. I've even tested its compatibility with my skis and snowboards, and they fit perfectly.

Great cargo box for the price. Fits well on my 2017 MDX, though on the back it does touch the radio antenna. Just took in on a 12 hour road trip with no issues. Noise levels were low. Liked the duel side opening. Storage capacity is ample, was able to get a few carry on size suitcases in there. Would recommend 👌

I recently got my hands on the rooftop carrier, and I've gotta say, it's been a total game-changer for my road trips! First off, this thing looks slick on my car. It's like a futuristic upgrade that not only makes my car look cooler but also neater and tidier inside. But what really blew me away is the space inside this thing! I mean, it might look compact on my Chevy Suburban, but it's like a TARDIS – it fits so much stuff! I loaded it up with camping gear, luggage, and more for a weekend getaway, and everything stayed safe and secure. Installation was a breeze; I did it all by myself. No more fumbling around with complicated setups. Plus, the lock system is reassuring – my stuff was locked up tight during the entire trip. Just make sure you closed the box properly! Just try to lift it up after closing and locking! Weather-wise, it's a champ. Rain, shine, or snow, the cargo box didn't back down. I've put it through some rough conditions, and my gear always came out dry and intact. Honestly, this rooftop carrier has made packing and traveling so much simpler and stylish. If you're into road trips and outdoor adventures, give it a shot. It'll change the way you travel!

UPDATE: I recevied an email back from perflex. Apparantly the black scuffing is caused by the black fabric that the unit is wrapped in during shipping. They reached out and offered to refund me a partial amount for my order due to this inconvenience. Adding more stars for the quick customer service response. Original Review: Received my white cargo carrier and immediately found damaged after opening the box. It almost looks like it was used beforehand but I'm not sure that's the case. It has black scuffs on it and is also covered in a black residue that won't come off when I tried cleaning it with a soapy washcloth. I have contacted perflex customer service but has still not received any response to my email. I will update this review if perflex responds and makes this right. It's a nice cargo carrier but I'm pretty upset that it came scuffed up and stained with what looks like grease or oil or something.
