Pit size is small in this model.
Wash and season (with oil ad onion) it before first use... wash and season it again if batter sticks to the pan... batter has to be in running condition (dosa batter condition with added tempered ingredients). Cook it at a low heat (sim mode) with lid covered... the pit size is very small (1.5" only) in this model... to avoid rusting apply oil after every use/wash... overall good one...

Perfect cooking !
First cast iron utensil, and it works great , heat distributed all over evenly, non-sticky also but perfectly after first cooking once heated then food cooked low heat . Cleaning is easy Overall this is must have in kitchen . Go for it .. recommend for everyone!
