Does the housing around the connector spin, or is the orientation stuck this way?

When you remove the screws you can adjust it to a different angle then you lock it when you put back the screws

Im trying to turn the angle plug orientation so that won't cover the buttons on my mixer but is not possible?

These are not clockable. That would be a nice feature though. Didn't even know they had clockable xlr cables until now so thanks for that info. I will say I was happy with the quality of these xlr cables.
