Ordered as a spare
Ordered this breech plug as a spare breech plug in case something would ever go wrong with my current breech plug. I have a .50 caliber Thompson Center Triumph Bone Collector muzzleloader. The Speed Breech XT is this breech plug exactly; my other breech plug slides in and 1/4 turn and it is seated. This new breech plug slides in and stops about 1/8th of an inch before it can completely go into the breech; can not use this because it will not go in all the way, if it can not go in all the way then you can not make that 1/4 turn. Was never able to use this breech plug; now, I have to contact amazon and find out if there is a way to return this. I bought to use as a spare and did not need it until this year; bought it last year around this time. It is just sad that either amazon is selling off makes of products or the manufacturer has lousy quality control. Either way its lame. The product looks exactly the same as the old one.....I mean identical; but it doesn't screw in.

Did not fit
Bought last year for my triumph bone collector. Went to push it in and it just will not go in all the way. Tried on my father in laws gun and it does the same thing. Sadly TC is getting sold so the company will not send me any replacements and I am stuck trying to order another one of these and hope it fits.
