Can you tell me the dimension of the switch panel and the distance between the screws please? thanks

Hello Ivy, the dimensions are 84x84x9 (mm) for the panel and from the centre of each screw is 60mm. Standard sizing in most cases. Hope that helps. James

i have a light switch at both ends of my landing - does "2 way" mean you can have 2 switches controlling the one light source ?

There are 3 types of light switches 1 way 2 way and 3 way (intermediate) this is a 2 way switch meaning that you can turn the same light on from 2 locations using 2 switches of this type. You have to have the correct wiring installed for this to work ie 1 switch having a live feed (wired to the common terminal) and the other having a switch wire to the light fitting (again wired to the common terminal). You then need 2 cables run between the switches 1 connected to terminal L1 at both ends and the other connected to L2 both ends. If in doubt contact a qualified electrician.
