Dermacol makeup cover (primer covers tattoo and scars), 218

Super full coverage and thick, I mixed in with my Mac studio fix fluid in shade nc38. The demacol shade 218 in reference to the nc38 is slightly lighter and more neutral toned. It creates a perfect full coverage look. Although is very oily, easily resolved with powder and stays put with powder also.

Difficult to find a full coverage foundation for older skin that isn't claggy or so Matte it shows every crease. This stuff is a miracle. Have bought another just in case they sell out! Totally amazing. Also tried it on my tattoos and it covers them completely. Just make sure you purchase the right colour through researching. 10 out of 10 and then some!

Fast delievry. I orderer the wrong colour ..i got 218 as that is meant to be a beige colour but its so light..it looks white to me! I definatlely want to order the correct colour. I've given it 4 stars mostly because the colour chart is not accurate. It's thick in consistency. Full coverage. I was hoping for it to be quite shiny as people are making it out to be..but I fail to see this as being shiny and seems more matte as the box says it is! I would start off with a pea size amount for the entire face and gradually build to suit your needs.

Despite reading reviews and therefore purchasing a shade darker than normal this is still too light perhaps ok in the winter when tan fades but do need to mix with a cheaper darker foundation to get the colour right. However, brilliant coverage and will buy again.

A thick coverage foundation, bought wrong shade but mixed with other drugstore lighter colour with it and works perfectly without being cakey on skin. A small bit of the product goes a long way

Apparently no very good if your taking hot flushes, make up begins to melt no matter how much you bake your face. Defo not designed for the menopausal woman. It's great when no flushes are in sight.

This isn't waterproof, it transfers everywhere, it's extremely oily and you have to put a really thick layer on to completely cover a tattoo.

This is brilliant stuff it covers everything and anything. I mix a tidgey bit if it with my foundation. It works and it makes me feel confident. Little bit goes a long way. I also thought it was such a good price

The product is the real one. I have the fake for comparison. It has amazing coverage. I have a very large scar and it did a great job of covering it up. The consistency is thick, yet not heavy at all. Very smooth. The color matched my slightly tan, medium skin tone well.. but it’s a lighter medium forsure. Great product. I am a high end makeup user and this passes all the tests. Lasts a long time if you set it as well, with no transfer.

I have a “cafe au lait” macule— basically a large brown birthmark— that I have used many different products on to try and cover it. This is honestly the best product I have ever used. I have tried many different brands including dermablend and other heavy duty concealers. This is the first foundation that I have found that so closely matches my skin color that I do not have to blend it with any other colors for a natural appearance. Also, its application is so quick it saves me a significant amount of time as compared to any other heavy duty concealer I have tried. ***I only use this product to cover my birthmark. I don’t apply foundation to my face, so this review applies to those who need “spot” coverage The key to using this product is as follows: 1) you must use a make up sponge. It does not work well with the silicone sponges. It does not work well if you use your fingers. 2) apply in layers if you have a darker area to cover. I apply a very light layer and blend it around my regular skin, wait a few seconds for it to dry, and then apply a little more directly on my birthmark. You do NOT need a lot of this product. It is highly concentrated. 3) you MUST “set it” with a setting powder (dermacol has one and it works just as well as the dermablend brand). If you do not “set” this foundation, it will crease and wipe off, leaving it appearing smudgy I hope this review helps others who have searched for full coverage foundation for hard to cover birthmarks.

Maquillage parfait mais il faut en appliquer très peu. Je mets une goutte de la taille d'un petit pois sur mon éponge à maquillage et je l'étale bien uniformément. les couleurs sont bien plus claires qu'on ne le pense, entre 1 et 2 tons en dessous de ce qu'on peut croire. J'ai acheté une teinte supérieure et je les mélange pour un résultat parfait. Tout le monde me dit que j'ai une super peau :) Je ne changerai plus de marque.
