Could this be used in a car?

Woukd this be good to use outside. Due to dark mornings i would like to stick it on the garage door, so i can find the keyhole easier ?

It wouldnt work well outside. Small sheds. Wardrobes etc it would do. Dont think the materials it's made from would last very well outdoors. But it's a great light source for small indoor places or areas you can't get an electrical source to.

Does it heat up much?

I've not noticed any heat but not had it on more than 30 mins each time x
