Can you place a camera privacy slider over this and still close the laptop normally?

May be worth a shot, however I’d be concerned of it protruding a little too much and potentially cause rubbing of the slider and the edge of the lower portion of the MacBook (on the bottom side of the trackpad) long term.

Does the laptop still fully close? Other glass screen protectors have many reviews/QA's that say not to use glass screen protectors.

My wife’s still fully closed with a ‘shell’ style case.

Will this work with a case installed? I'm aware that some tempered glass protectors won't allow for full lid closure if a case is installed.

My wife’s MacBook has a case and this protector works great. Although, her case is one that sort of snaps onto the back of the display and the bottom, so if you had a different style that overlaps the front of the screen or something (maybe leather) it may be a little too thick to close fully.

large mirror!

i wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this screen protector, first of all your MacBook does not fully close properly with the screen protector on, even if it says it's really thin it's actually quite a thick piece of glass and overtime. This can easily damage your screen or the hinge of the laptop. kinda defeats the purpose and second of all, it's extremely reflective it basically turns the nice anti-reflective laptop screen into a huge mirror, and it gets really hard to see anything on the screen. dont ruin your expensive laptop with this!

This has to be one of the best screenprotectors I’ve used in a while, it’s nearly invisible but it’s there, the application of it is amazing, and no bubbles or anything.
