I have been a drummer for many years. Always played with traditional acoustic drums. I hadn’t owned a set for a long time and didn’t want to disturb my family or neighbors so I thought I’d give electronic ones a try. These are of very good quality. The set up was easy and they sound amazing. I would recommend getting better quality headphones though. The mesh pads give a realistic feel and it’s great that the sound of each component can be tailored. The manual is mostly useless to program stuff. I relied on AI step by step instructions and it worked out very well. I am very impressed with this drum set. Everybody says it’s for kids and beginners but I disagree. They are versatile and even an experienced drummer would enjoy messing around on these. It’s for home use and for practice. Obviously, nobody would take $400 drums on tour with Metallica. Anyway, I highly recommend these. Well worth the price .

Update 03/19/24 I am updating based on the usage for the past 3 months. I bought this as a Xmas gift for my husband. The first kit was used and had missing parts. It was an embarrassing disappointment. However, this is where the review changes. Due to my last review Donner reached out to us not only did they sent us a new kit immediately, they also refunded part of what I paid in hopes that they changed my mind. I was impressed with their service but I wasn't going to change my review until my husband had used the kit for a while to give it a proper review. In the mean time Donner reached out again and sent us an Amp. I was already impressed and happy with their service. The Amp wasn't necessary but appreciated. As far as customer service, we can say that Donner goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. So 5 stars As far as the set goes, my husband is 6 ft tall and strong so he kinda looks like a giant, the set is tiny. He looks like a praying mantis drumming but he likes the set and he is satisfied with it. I love to hear him drumming . I'm not gonna say that this is the best drumming kit, I'm sure that there are better ones but this is a good starting kit and we are appreciative to Donner for their excellent support. **** It was Christmas present for my husband and it was used and its missing several component including cables, high hat pedal, stand for stool and there are stains on the drum heads, missing wires. It seems and looks used and returned. How embarrassing and disappointing. I feel horrible.

**This was more like a 4.5 star review if I could** As a drummer who’s had wood shells and metal my whole life (25 years experience). I’ve wanted to break into the world of the electronic side of drumming. For a kit to test the waters and see if you would like to go for an advanced kit this is perfect. Or even as a starter kit. Over all for an electric kit this does perform well. It’s a rough adjustment with the mesh heads and some of the reaction for things like hi hat action are limited (as far as advanced fast technical playing styles with lighter hits especially) With what comes with the kit I will note: The throne is small. I am 5’10 and I found I was sitting too low for my comfort. And the pedal is good for a beginner but it isn’t very reactive for advance play. It’s also smaller so be prepared to play a little tighter as well. It’s worth the money and extra symbol. It’s also very easy with the functions to navigate lessons, switching kits, etc. Set up time was about 45 minutes and another 1 hour me adjusting how I want it (Isnt it always the longest part?)

I’m brand new to drums so I’m still learning what is good and what isn’t, but I really like how you can adjust the sounds of everything and save it as your own preset. I also like the presets given for different genres or types of playing. One thing to note is that the material does get pet hair stuck to it but that’s not a big deal to me. It comes with sticks and the kick drum pedal which are great! While you are limited to the bars holding it up all the drums and cymbals can be moved or angled to however works best for you. If you’re an adult planning to use this I would recommend using a different pair of headphones as the ones it comes with are quite small and might give you a headache.

I purchased this kit cuz I was ready to upgrade from my trashy kit to a more reliable instrument. Well, I think I chose the right one. This kit has everything you need. I was able to custom program a kit using various cymbal/drum sounds on kit 31. As a drummer progressing into metal, the ability to program a crash/ride into a china is big plus on this kit. The sound on this setup is clear and just sounds amazing. The drums and cymbals are very responsive and trigger well. I also purchased a double kick pedal and it works great on this kit. Definitely double kick friendly. So many other features I haven't tried yet but look forward to doing so. I've spent hours on this kit since I've received it and I absolutely love it and highly recommend, whether you're a beginner or professional. The only complaint I have is the headphones that are included with the kit sound horrible. Not clear sound at all. That aside, this kit is overall amazing and I recommend it, especially for the price.

Where to begin? I've been a drummer for over 50 years, but I've never used either a rack system or an electronic drums. I assumed this would be akin to my rubber practice pads. Very much not so. The new drum heads are very responsive, even more so than the pickup can handle at times. I have the snare pretty tight for good bounce, but the pickup has trouble with rolls. This snare also has a pickup on the rim so it kind of does rim-shots. Playing stick-on-the-head type quiet rims sounds pretty good. The hi-hat might just be too sensitive, as it sometimes makes random sounds when my foot is holding it down and I'm not striking it. I love the fact that I can plug my MP3 player into the module and pipe that and the drum sounds through the headphones. Donner customer support is lagging at this point. I was hoping for a little quicker response for new setup, but I will probably, eventually figure it out myself. Some of my issues might just be system limitations, like the drum roll issue. Maybe a bad pickup. All-in-all, and especially considering the price, it's a good compromise. It took some time to learn the programming system, like to get the hi-hat to sound right, but they give you several pre-programmed sound styles, as well as one you can customize to your own tastes. As I've not played in about 8 years, it's going to take time to get myself back up-to-speed, but I think this is going to work. There is also a USB port to connect the module to a computer and coordinate with other musicians on-line! Update: Just a word of warning; there is apparently no customer support with Donner. I have sent several emails with questions, none of which have been replied to. Caveat emptor! Update: I did finally receive a response from Donner, but the responder seems not to have much knowledge about drums. I get the impression that they are running out the 30-day return clock. Buyer beware: Donner just advised me that they don't accept my Amazon order number for warranty purposes. They won't even respond to direct questions about the kit that I bought. It looks like my only option is going to be to send it back and go elsewhere. I just received an email from Donner advising that they only offer warranty support for items purchased directly from their web site. So I'm stuck with the partially-defective snare drum unless I want to return the whole kit. Buyer beware!

batterie très fidèle a la description et bien + encore ; très satisfait sur les diverses tons de sonorités et le retour de la touche de frappe , se rapprochant d une batterie acoustique je recommande ce produit , d autant plus que le service client est très réactif et professionnel un set complet a ce prix la , pas d hésitations

Fantastic for the price, I can't fault it apart from the headphones, bin them amd get a better set, be good if you could upload your own pad sounds. But there is plenty to choose from already.

Easy to install

When I received the product, there was a problem with the module screen. The issue fixed itself, but it started again a month later. When I reported the problem to Donner, they didn’t take care of it and told me to contact Amazon. Amazon issued a partial refund for the module. However, if I ever order again, I will definitely stay away from Donner. Their customer service is absolutely unhelpful and just wastes your time.

Voy a consdensar aquí mi review de esta batería ya que creo que falta uno completo para los que aún no se decidieron siendo lo más breve posible pero no dejando nada fuera. Soy un baterista avanzado que toca hace 15 años, para quien logicamente hoy la batería es un hobby y una desconexión de la seriedad de la vida adulta. Mi intención entonces fue buscar una batería buena que me permita divertirme tocando sobre pistas en casa y grabar algún esporádico track. Para resumir: con esta intención en mente, creo que compré lo mejor en su rango de precio. Tuve anteriormente una Yamaha de gama media/alta. Hay diferencias? Si, claro, en todos los aspectos. Pero hay que leer este review en mente teniendo en cuenta que pagué 369EUR con una oferta Flash (modelo con 4 platillos), y que aún a su precio regular de 429EUR para mi la relacion precio prestaciones sigue siendo buenísima. Esta batería compite con Alesis, baterías que he probado, y ofrece mejores prestaciones por menor precio, ya que no pagas la prima de una marca un poco más establecida. Entonces vamos al grano: -Empaquetado y armado: viene todo dividido en cajas rotuladas, trae repuestos de mariposas por si la perdes, y todo muy bien explicado en el manual. Si ya armaste alguna batería electronica, no te va a llevar más de media hora. Aquí encontré al tomar el redoblante, que había ruido de algo suelto adentro. El cuerpo se abre, y al abrirlo encontré que la cabeza de un tornillito se había quebrado y estaba suelta. Al no presentar problemas en el sonido ni moverse la pieza que sostiene, procedí con el armado. Sucede con una Yamaha o Roland? no, pero posiblemente tampoco con todas las Donner. Un detalle menor al que estaré atento a futuro. -Estabilidad: algunos hablan de que es inestable, le he pegado duro y la batería no se mueve si ajustas bien todo, de hecho es muy comoda y se le puede dar buena altura. Esto para mi la hace mejor que otras de su precio (por ejemplo las DB Drums para quienes sean de Latinoamerica) -Los cuerpos mesh andan barbaro, se les puede regular bien la tension para finarlos y tener rebote mas acorde al gusto de cada uno. El redoblante es doble sona y el aro buena muy lindo. Los platillos tienen choke, son doble zona y andan muy bien. La sensibilidad se regula, y he tocado sobre estandares de jazz con mucho rebote como sobre temas de punk rock sin ningun tipo de problema honestamente incluso en fills rápidos. -El pedal del hi-hat es a presion, no esperen una sensibilidad espectacular, pero cumple su funcion. El pedal del bombo, que es un pedal real que golpea un cuerpo, es por supuesto, malo para un batero experimentado. Esperaba algo mejor por menos de 400EUR? no, para nada. Para un principante posiblemente esté perfecto, y de todas formas, se puede cambiar perfectamente por el pedal que cada uno guste (cosa que haré pronto). Lo unico malo del pedal de bombo es que el soporte del pad es muy largo para atras, por lo que si armas contra una pared, la bateria debe quedar bastante separada por esta extension. -Sonido y modulo: correcto, tiene click, algunos temas pre grabados para tocar encima (que curiosamente, tienen pista de bateria... lo cual me disgusta), y variedad de pre sets que son todos customizables en volumen y sonido. Honestamente, no voy a tocar nada, con los que trae hay variedad de sonidos decentes y fieles. -Accesorios: acá tampoco esperaba mucho más, pero les voy a ahorrar tiempo. Los auriculares son un desastre total, los que recibí yo incluso tienen un falso contacto de un lado y el sonido va y viene, pero aún si eso no sucediera suenan horrible. Con lo cual si metes la bateria en el carrito, mete tambien unos buenos auriculares. La banqueta es bastante mala tambien, pero se deja usar si se la trata con cariño. Hasta que se rompa, no compraré otra. En resumen: tiene las limitaciones que tiene cualquier batería de este rango de precio, pero al mismo precio esta trae un platillo más, una banqueta aceptable, y pedal de bombo real. Le pongo 5 estrellas a pesar del tornillo suelto, y de detalles como los auriculares (que jamas esperaba fueran buenos) porque pienso que por su precio, entrega muchisimo a un batero experimentado que la quiera para divertirse en casa. Es una bateria para tocar en vivo todos los fines de semana, o para grabar un LP? sirve, pero posiblemente no sea lo ideal. Para quienes el uso que yo le doy se corresponda con sus intenciones, la recomiendo ampliamente (más si la encuentran en oferta como yo) Espero que les sirva
