This is a great book, very easy to follow and a great start for you to build up them coding skills. This looks like a childs book, but I can assure you it's for adults too. It has an illustrated website that you follow along to for a bit of extra help. Great book and worth the money.

Great find!
Thicker book than I was expecting so pleasantly surprised. The pages are lovely quality. The visual layout of the pages with graphics is helpful to keep the reader engaged and shows thought has been put in! The price was very good and I think I got a bargain to be honest. Reading this book as an adult who already works in tech is a nice recap, and will be great for my son when he gets a bit older.

Brilliant Book for Those Who Are Looking To Get Into Coding.
I thought I would give coding a go, so I learned coding online through YouTube. To save myself the time, and learning-curve, I purchased this book as I needed content which was directed towards entry-level, beginner coding. I have been working through the book, performing all the different exercises and tasks, and I have to say that I am very impressed with what the book entails. When you work through this book, it doesn't feel too difficult; the tasks are fun to perform, and at the same time you are learning to code. Having learned some coding prior to purchasing this book, I had tried a little coding myself by learning it online via Youtube, but when I started to learn it through the book, and perform and exercises and tasks given within the book, I learned MUCH quicker! So if you are looking to learn how to code yourself and a beginner, or you know someone who is, I would DEINITLEY recommend this book as it makes coding feel a more fun and enjoyable process.

FANTASTIC LEARNING RESOURCE
I bought this book for my 9 year old son and I must say this book is a real game changer! My son was vaguely interested in coding but within a day he was able to build a basic web page. The instructions are very clear, simple and broken down, with colourful pictures. The book takes the reader continuously through a text that guides step-by-step how to use the three programming languages and what are its particular functions and properties. I highly recommned this book for any child wishing to learn coding and apply these skills in practice in a fun and very child-friendly way.

Best coding book I have bought
This book teaches someone HTML, CSS and JavaScript really well. Before reading this book, I tried learning HTML and JavaScript by watching some beginner tutorials on Youtube but those tutorials don't explain things clearly, demonstrate things too quickly and are just a pile of mess. Before reading this book, I didn't know how to write a full HTML and JavaScript program and I didn't understand a lot of things in any code of a program made of HTML and JavaScript. After I started reading this book and when I was half way through the first chapter of the book, I realised that this book teaches a complete beginner like me HTML, CSS and JavaScript really well. The text is written clearly and concisely. I really like how this book is written in missions and has a storyline, which make the book fun to read. Usually books which teach coding don't have any storyline and just give instructions and are really boring. This book is not boring. I also like there are lots of illustrations in the book. Having illustrations and not just text make reading the book more fun. Before reading this book, I could not create any webpages. After started reading this book, I can. Really amazing book. I am so glad that I have come across this book!

Actually, I bought the book for myself and not for the children. The lessons are easy and interesting to follow. The book is beautifully illustrated. I would recommend it to everyone.

Came in good condition and on time. The corners are a bit bent but no big deal. Hold for beginners of all ages!

This is quite repetitive which will help you get the right habits to code. However, the book contains some coding mistakes and you will get frustrated not being able to finish too many "mission".

Anybody new to coding will see it's not as daunting as it appears on film, and who have already started, won't mind revisiting their knowledge and pick up easily from where they had left. Its language and purpose will pique your interest and hold it. No boring history lessons, only titbits and webcharts in between. Checklists summarise everything you've just read and you could redo a "mission" in no time, by skimming them. You'd in the first mission itself begin to understand and appreciate the relation among HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT, and after the second, you'd be creating your own webpages and by the end of the book, even simple games and apps. Take your own time. This book does a lot better than many other high school books in inspiring the thrill of coding.
