Love it, applies glue to small, delicate paper and card designs. Another person who reviewed this product didn't like the way some glue is left showing around and in the designs. Just take the clear paper that is removed and dab it over the design and it picks up the excess glue. A tip from Create and Craft

This product is a perfect addition to any paper crafter. Ideal for small embellishments needed to add to a card or scrapbook page. Also great for intricate die cuts where wet glue is just too messy. Highly recommend and it is a good price too.

I've been wanting to try out a Xyron machine for a while. I do a lot of papercrafting and have dies to cut some extremely intricate shapes. Gluing these with normal glue can be problematic, and you're guaranteed to have glue in the spaces. This does the job a little better than liquid glue, but you do still get threads of adhesive over cut out areas. It's not too hard to get rid of these, but the result isn't as clean as I'd hoped. The jury's still out on whether or not I'll buy a refillable unit.

Works well without the expected of a dedicated machine. For small items and occasional use this is a good way to go.

I ordered this after watching crafting videos on putting together layered images cut using electronic cutting machines (such as the Cricut Explore.) I had been looking for a way to apply adhesive to small pieces of card and paper in intricate shapes and this seemed to fit the bill. It's lightweight and really easy to use but I find on really intricate pieces the adhesive creates a web of adhesive over the open areas where you don't want adhesive. I have also found that sometimes the adhesive peels off as I'm pulling the card or paper off the backing sheet which can be frustrating. It is fine for less intricate designs or for making adhesive ribbon but I think I'll stick to dabbing glue on the back of my intricate cuts. This is a good first Xyron purchase as its disposable so you don't have to worry about wasting money if you don't get on with it and ending up with another unused craft machine in your home.

Great for sentiments and small lacy dies. When used correctly, ie burnished around the edges before removing the backing, allows intricate items to be glued easily. Will buy again.

this is very poor quality makes me wonder if it is a genuine xyron, plastic very thin, and rollers very loose. bought one as a present but after using my own wouldn't give it and had to keep it, never used it. went to craft shop and bought the real thing
