Are these completely metal? Just had a gorilla stand with the plastic leg housing and adjustment part snapped. i don't want to buy the same again .

No, the leg mounting collar and upper pole clamp are plastic, the rest is metal. I've done about a dozen gigs now with mine and have no complaints. I was using a pair of 30kg Mackies and did find I had to tighten the clamps more than I would have liked. I've switched to JBL 515xts which are about 19kg and a gift for these stands. So I expect the question is how heavy are your speakers. The bag that comes with is another matter, it's already the worse for wear, but at this price the stands are...well..outstanding :)

what weight are the stands please?

The whole bag including the stands weighs no more the approx 5 kg

Hello, i purchased these speakers - 2x ekho rs12a portable dj pa party active sound system speakers, do they work with these particular stands?

Yes, these will be fine with your speakers as they have 35mm pole mounts.Kind RegardsAVC

Are these speaker stands comparable with the ldpn 1222 speakers thankyou

Hi, I am sorry I am unfamiliar with those speakers. The stands are designed to fit a standard 35mm hole speaker fitting. Kind RegardsPeter
