What kind of questions are they and how does the game work?

You can guess the link after two or three questions, you don't have to wait for all four. As you get more competitive people guess earlier in the hope of winning the card. We played with a group of mixed ages from 24-78 and found the younger members in their twenties could generally find the link quicker. Their brains seemed to work quicker but maybe that's because they are keen quizzers. After a couple of games people got the idea more and all really enjoyed the game so much so that one bought a set for a friend. I think it says from age 12 which may be ok if working in pairs or a team but I would think they would need to be more in their teens to compete individually.

Is this the U.K. Edition?

Yes it is. I just ordered the wrong box! I wanted set 2.
