I bought this to increase my daily protein intake, and it’s been a great addition. I blend it with semi-skimmed milk, sometimes adding a banana, and it genuinely feels like a treat rather than a chore. 👌 The vanilla flavour is pleasant and not overly sweet, which I really appreciate compared to many protein powders. It mixes well in a blender and has a smooth texture. I’ve also had no issues with bloating or discomfort. A convenient and enjoyable way to boost protein intake.

Top of the range protein. Tastes great. Easy to mix into smoothies, overnight oats and add to protein balls. I mix it with almond milk and frozen strawberries and it tastes like a thick shake. Low in calories so helps with calorie deficit. Great size bag lasts ages and great value for money. Perfect for repair after a workout and hitting your protein macro goals

Used to taste like a really good vanilla ice cream, but the "new and improved" packages taste like medicine and chalky. It also has a gloopy texture. I have had the Vanilla Creme for years, and probably would switch to another product. Should have left it be as it was - perfect.

This was good and tasted nice too. I've moved away from weigh based protein, but might use it again in future.

Creamy flavour and mixes well

The recipe was changed, which subjectively, tastes better but it starts to thicken increasingly after 5 minutes, such much, that i can barely pour it out of the shaker and need to use a steel drinking straw to stir it if a pour it into a glass.

I've only just started using protein shakes and was recommended the PhD products by some of the people I train with and I have to say I'm very impressed. I haven't tried drinking the shakes with water, I opted for semi skimmed milk for the start and reading other views I'm glad I did! Although it recommends using a full scoop and 175ml of water or milk I increased the amount of milk to 300ml as the shake is incredibly thick!! Vanilla - definitely my favourite of all three I've bought and incredibly tasty. Strawberry - very nice flavour, a close run thing with the vanilla Chocolate Orange - My least favourite of the three I've purchased so far. Although there is a hint of both flavours I found the drink quite bland. Although not a product I'd buy again it is easy to drink and not at all unpleasant. The shakes definitely curb your hunger and if you do use it to keep hunger at bay then they will help. I don't like breakfast during the week so I've started taking a drink in the morning and another one after training to help the protein do its magic on the aching muscles. Doing it this way I've definitely not had any after effects the next day after a long session. Super stuff.
