Dimensions of scanner pad. tech requirements for a thumb drive. do i need another license for laptop just to transfer to desktop via thumb drive??

Hello, the A2 scanner mat dimensions is 660 x 480 mm. You refer to "thumb drive" is a manual button, its usage method can view the following video.

If i scan an a3 document, what is the dpi resolution? what about an a2 document? 300 dpi? 600 dpi?

I don't know the answer. If you email them, they are very responsive. It isn't a high resolution. I was trying to duplicate part of a near A2 document, 22 x 6. It came out readable and all, but was too small to display. So, I tried to do it in parts, and then enlarging the parts on my older 3-in-1 - but I could never get the parts to align in size. After many attempts I gave up and took the document to a wedding photographer who put it on the floor and climbed a ladder to get it all in actual size. The photo lab, which I had tried first, wanted it left and wouldn't allow me to make an appointment so I would be on hand while they did it. The photographer was the best bet. Sorry for not knowing the answer; I think they would tell you if that is your guiding principle.

How to connect and use this large format scanner?

Hello, The VIISAN book scanner is connected to the computer via USB. Then go to the VIISAN official website to download the OfficeCam software. After installation, you can use the scanner according to the user's instructions. If you have other questions, you can send us an email at Amazon, we will reply you in time.

Is the the file that is created is it at 100% accurate scale wise??

As far as I can tell, the software is not aware of the height you set the camera, so it is not.
