Prozix Amber PEI Sheet 3D Printer Build Surface 200mmx280mm Ultem 1000 Build Surface for Tevo Tarantula, RepRap Prusa

I was actually pleasantly surprised with this build plate. i normally use BuildTak, but after getting frustrated with continued issues with PETG sticking WAY too well (and causing ripping of the surface) I decided to try the PEI route. It works okay - not as good nor easy as other solutions, but has it's own advantages. The biggest being that my prints stick "good enough" without being problematic to remove. The downside is that you really need to prep the surface before you install it - a good sanding is pretty much required to ensure that the surface has some "roughness" to it for your prints to stick. And it's pretty thick too - I was afraid that my bed level sensor wouldn't be able to detect the metal plate under it but it does, just ever so slightly.Would I used this again? Maybe - I'm curious to see how the bed ages with lots of printing (e.g. so I don't have to replace as frequently as with other products). Time will tell.

I had several persistent adhesion issues before buying this sheet. I tried every gimmick I could find to overcome them. I tried glass. It broke. I tried painter's tape, it was ok, but didn't always work. I tried painter's tape in conjunction with a glue stick, which was ok but messy, sticky, and had to be re-applied after almost every print. But now? After installing the PEI sheet, which took two minutes, I have never had to do anything more. I use PLA, and the PEI sheet is very grabby when it is warm, but releases the print with a small flick from a putty knife or similar. Print bottoms are smooth as glass, and you can even see your finger smudges on it. I love this stuff and wish I had known about it much sooner.

Wow was this a game changer. Night and day results. Mirror surface finish on bed-side faces, and easy to pop off abs prints without much effort. Highly recommended

Very good product, work great and it isvery easy to apply with the pre-apply tape. No more struggling putting the tape myself and screw it up.

PETG filament fuses to this PEI permanently regardless of bed temp, first layer thickness, or Z offset. Requires a razor blade to scrape off. Other vendors material does not.Will ask for my money back .
