Does it work with xbox?

It won't work wirelessly, but if you use the 3.5mm audio cable it comes with you can use it on xbox

Is the sound quality comparable to Beats!

Beats are just selling the brand Beats by Dr.Dre . They are stylish headphones with terrible quality relative to their price , so yes Steelseries Arctis 7 is way better , but if you are chasing good sound quality i don't think the Arctis 7 is for you because it delivers side features for gaming like the mic and Dts support which takes a big share of the money you paid so if you looking for superior sound quality headphones you should consider Bose i think it is the best company that makes top tier speakers , if you want a headphone that can serve for both gaming and music then stick with the Steelseries Arctis 7 or the sennheiser if you can afford it .

Does this come with a 3mm cable for Xbox controller?

Yes And Good For Ps4 Controller

Do these have good directional sound on the PS4?

No unless you configure it with a PC
