Unfortunately from my experience, this cable was able to last slightly over a month of normal use before subcoming to an unusable item, not good for a one time fix, might be good if you would like to buy another cable every other month.

They work fine for a couple months, and then just seem to break down out of nowhere. I'm not sure if it's operator error, or just poor quality. I do my best to make sure they aren't yanked on, or bent constantly, but no matter what I do they just seem to gradually stop working such as audio on one side goes out, sometimes no audio, mic crackle, or no mic.

Lasted from December 2023 to September 2024 on a PC38X headset before sound went out in one ear. I seem to have gotten lucky with my cable compared to many others in the reviews as far as longevity goes. I would recommend trying to find something better but will still leave it 3 stars because for me it lasted almost a year with no issues.

As many other people have written here I started experiencing problems sooner than I would've liked. The cable bunches up really easily and causes the wiring to short out - worked ok for ~7-8 months now I need a replacement because my microphone is shorting out. This will work as a replacement but be prepared to take care of it or replace it quickly.

As other reviewers have said, this cable bleeds channels and is unusable for voice, as other speakers will bleed into the mic channel. Do not purchase. Should not be sold.

Purchased for a quick replacement, the microphone's line stopped working after two weeks. Really poor quality cables.

Cable fatigued at the mini aux side of the cable after 4 months, affecting the mic channel.

Was a replacement for my Sennheiser PC37X gaming headset. The mic now worked and the audio was as clear as with the original cable but this cable is much less stiff, in fact it has already stopped working after just a few months of light use. The mic end no longer works and the 1.5mm end that goes into the headphones only works if I bend the cable in a certain direction. I never bent the cables, in fact I attached straws and springs to support the flimsy connection ends because they would just flop to the side without it. I wouldn't recommend as a serious replacement cable.
