Can you bypass the timer on this thing? I just want it due to the weather cover. I really don't care about the timer.

Flip the switch to the ON position. It will bypass your timer and the plugs will always be ON.

i just plugged mine in. I want it on 24/7. Do i need to set it at all for it to always be on?

If you would like to have it on 24/7 just set it to MANUAL and ON. No need to set a program time.

Is it safe to plug the stake timer into an extention cord to turn it on?

The seller should answer this to be sure and safe

Does a large plug for a pool filter fit in this

Yes, but the box may not close. Please make sure not to overload this timer. This timer can only handle up to 1/2 horsepower.
