Women's Classic Eco-Drive Watch, Stainless Steel

I replaced my Apple Watch for this one. No going back. This is an elegant watch. Simple, classic, and timeless. I like the blue dial and I love the fact that it glows in the dark. And that I don't have to buy batteries is cherry on top. The watch isn't too bulky nor too big. I like that it's a larger watch (for women). Can be worn dressed up or down. The price was fair. The quality is excellent. Would have liked a date complication, but not a big deal. I love the watch as is.

I replaced my Seiko solar with this watch after its face became too damaged to read. The Eco‑Drive design is fantastic, it can go for months without needing a charge, using both natural and indoor light to keep itself powered. I’ll occasionally set it on a windowsill, but otherwise I never have to think about charging it. The reflective face makes it easy to read in dim rooms, and the style is versatile enough for both work and going out. Overall, it’s been a great upgrade.

Beautiful and big. Happy that the dial glows in the dark. The eco drive is amazing hasn't failed me yet. Im glad I got this watch. No replacing of battery needed as the light keeps it running.

A lot of pros: Timeless design. Great dial color. Great value from a reputable brand. Good readability. The bracelet is great. This watch would also look great on a leather strap, if you wanted to swap out the bracelet.

I received a gift of a Citizen Calendrier Blue just a few weeks back. I did not need another watch beyond that one, certainly. Then I saw photos of this Citizen Classic, this subtle, discreet, watch. Its vibrant dark cobalt dial, the artistic design of the dial, with no obstructions, just the three hands, no date or day or anything. Markers at the cardinal positions and the small square dots for the rest of the hours. It looked riveting online, and so it is in person. Of a quiet beauty. I am grateful to the reviewers who posted their photos. With its Eco-Drive Ring Solar–the solar cell, a ring on top of the dial along its circumference–the dial can be that unique dark blue...and not, as other dials, translucent. The caseback says "Water Resist—>5"; the description says 30meters. That, I do not understand. It does not say 5BAR or 5ATM, so, I won't get it wet. The hands and the hour markers glow blue in the dark. The bracelet has two removable smaller links at the clasp end, allowing for a more precise sizing combination; as well as finer adjustments on the clasp itself. The link pins are of the straight pin type, I think they're called. They looked like screw heads to me, but they are not. It takes some force to remove these straight pins; not my thing. So, I took the watch to a jeweler. The two smaller links can, indeed, be removed. The jeweler did not think so, but he was nice enough to humor me and try. And yes, he removed them and also two standard links. I don't know how to size a wrist for a watch, there seems to be a formula for this. My wrist measures a 6" circumference, and, formula or not, both watches feel great on. 36mm, 37mm. I wear them loose. They look very cool.

I love this watch! If you're looking for a dressy, larger faced, beautiful blue watch, get this watch! I don't think you'll be disappointed! I wear a lot of denim, and it looks so classy. It is an excellent buy, if you like a larger watch.

This watch is absolutely gorgeous! The deep blue face can really only be fully appreciated in person, and in certain lighting it almost looks like the numbers are diamonds. It’s a fantastic value for money because it looks so much more expensive. I prefer a larger faced watch for day to day, so the size is perfect for me! I did have to take a link out, which I found challenging, but luckily got that figured out. Highly recommend, hope this helps!

Absolutely beautiful watch, and so very practical. I am wearing a Seiko solar powered watch I bought 12 years ago. It has kept perfect time with no further light exposure, and the crystal has been impervious to scratches. It still looks brand new. This one is beautifully styled and quite feminine, but the face is man sized. It dwarfed my wrist, and I am a generously sized 5 ft 7 inch woman. I purchased it as the PERFECT Christmas present for my daughter who is a Naval Officer. What could be better than a beautiful watch, waterproof to100 meters, which never needs winding or batteries and will keep perfect time for 12 years or more? Sadly, the diameter of this beauty overwhelms my wrist which is a bit larger than my 5Ft 4 girl's. If only they had made it a few mm smaller. But if there are any lady weight lifters, Basketball players or other big girls who want a beautiful, feminine, but rugged watch, take a good look at this one. You will love it!

I love this watch. It is my new favourite watch. It is a beautiful shade of blue and it is slightly large. That’s what I like about it.

I choose this solar watch for a number of reasons including the fact I don't have to replace batteries regularly. I like the dark background with light coloured numbers which makes it easy to read. I would have preferred a black or dark brown background as the only blue coloured apparel I wear are jeans. The reason for not giving it five stars is that the bracelet is too loose on my less than delicate sized wrist. It is not easy to adjust the band size which means a trip to a jeweller and extra cost. (Not easy to do for someone who uses a walker during the cold snowy winter weather.) I would appreciate it if bands were easier to adjust so a person could do it themselves. I love the watch otherwise.
