The 9700GRLC is used for the prevention and treatment of stages I - IV pressue ulcers. The unique Chair-AirTM Lift Chair alternating pressure recliner overlay is ideal for patients who are at higher risk for developing pressure sores or who have already developed a pressure ulcer. Made specially for those who spend an extended amount of time in a Lift Chair. The 9700GRLC Alternating Pressure Lift Chair Recliner Overlay fits many existing standard LIft Chair Recliners to create a therapeutic seating surface. Call with questions. Pressure ulcers can occur when the interface pressure between the skin and the seating surface prevent proper blood flow. Twenty alternating pressure 3.5" bladders gently alternate to lower interface pressures in addition to comfortably supporting the patient. The bladders are of varing size to contour to the body and provide proper full body comfort, pressure redistribution and support where it is needed most. The Chair-AirTM 9700GRLC alternating pressure recliner mattress system includes the 9701 alternating pump. The portable Chair-AirTM AC/DC Pump allows your patient to be totally mobile. A rechargeable battery backup keeps this system working up to 6 hours per charge, based on the patient''s weight. The 9700GRLC is covered in Vyvex-IIITM, a low shear, zippered multi-stretch, moisture / vapor permeable top cover, non-skid bottom. The cover is anti-microbial and can easily be wiped clean.
