Love the blood splatter face pattern
First off, if you want to install this or any other extremerate product for either gen of your PS5 controller, then youtube I_am_caveman, not extremerate. He is so much more informative and especially vocal!! He made it so much easier to follow, especially when doing the touchpad and L2/R2 buttons.This was the first part of my controller install. It took me an hour to completely disassemble and reassemble. Now i can do it in 15-30min depending on what I'm installing. Only tool you will need is a heat gun or blow dryer. Just go slow when prying and reheat, if necessary. Its definitely worth it to take your time if you've never pryed a hot glued circuit board from a piece of plastic before. Also, be sure to watch the instructional videos several times before attempting.

End product looks great but takes some time to put on.
The end product looks great and works fine however the installation is time consuming. Make sure to watch the video first and that it matches your controller. You will need to use a dryer or heat gun for one step. Also, the device used in the video didn't 100% match our controller. However don't let that concern you because it installs fine there is just some additional screws that were not in our controller or parts that needed to be removed. Would not recommend for someone who is not comfortable with taking electronics apart or working with small items.

This is my second PS5 controller build with eXtremeRate products. This one came together nicely and includes the biohazard shell and Rise 2.0 back button kit. I also did the tactile click hair trigger kit. Threw on the scarlet red buttons, Dpad, and triggers, I finished it off with the carbon fiber trim shell.I can't say enough how happy I am with the overall fit, finish and functionality of what eXtremeRate does. In a word of $300 + custom controllers, to be able to build this on a budget of $100 is awesome. For someone who has ZERO electronics experience this was pretty simple. Easier than expected
I’ll be honest, for someone that has never been a gamer or super techy, the process seemed intimidating. But I followed the video, albeit my controller didn’t have a couple screws that the video showed and I didn’t have to separate the motherboard from the black casing/dual sense system to unscrew it from the front shell - it just popped out once I disconnected the blue flex cable and the microphone flex cable. Overall, it was easier than I thought it was going to be. Just follow the video and you shouldn’t have any issues!

Looks better than the "red" ps5 controller. Would use the black ps5 controller as a base for the nice buttons
