Does this product come in a roll rather than precut sheets so I can choose the size I need for my particular cheese?

Which is better, the bags or the paper wrap? Is this different from parchment paper?

The paper wraps can be cut into smaller pieces to accommodate smaller pieces of cheese. And it's very different from parchment; the waxed portion of the cheese papers (and that may not be the actual chemical definition but it's how I think of it) works to preserve the cheese way better than anything else I've tried.

The paper gives off fine white powdery particles, after a couple of times opening. Is this usual? Tried six sheets of one roll.

I never had that problem with these wonderful cheese storage papers. I've used each one many times over and all I have ever experienced is really great storage that keeps each different type of cheese at its best for a long tme. I also use a nicely roomy, aerated-floor cheese storage bin which (maybe?) has also kept the paper in good condition. Still, if you're not getting really great results from the storage paper, I'd contact the company directly and get a replacement/refund.
