Where is the micro algae grown and processed? If in China, has it been tested for heavy metals?

Hello, Thank you for your interest in our Astaxanthin! Our Astaxanthin is made with Astalif™, which is from Iceland. All of our softgel and capsules have undergone third-party testing and the COAs for each individual lot number can be found using the Track Your Lot feature on our website. If you have any additional questions regarding any of our products, please feel free to send us a message directly!

please tell me why on some bottles it lists carrageenan and some it does not list it? need to know if you make this without carageenan.

The Vegan formula does have Carrageenan in it. If you don’t want Carrageenan, order the regular formula which is the one with Gelatin in it. If you ordered the regular formula with Gelatin and received the Vegan formula that contains Carrageenan, contact the company and tell them so you can exchange it.

Why use carrageenan? Deal breaker. Please inform when this is removed, and i will buy approx 2 bottles per month. Sounds great with that exception.

Ingredients listed...check the next to last ingredient Astaxanthin (from Haematoccocus pluvialis mircoalgae). Other Ingredients: Organic Coconut Oil, Natural Tocopherols, Veggie Softel (Non-GMO Modified Cornstarch, Vegetable Glycern, Carrageenan, Purified Water)

Are they made / manufactured in the usa ?

The supplement facts on the label state the Astaxanthin is "Icelandic Astalif" from Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae - so it is from algae in Iceland's waters. Next to the barcode, the label states "manufactured and quality tested in USA".
