As described and worked perfectly. But it wasn’t my issue. Check the resistance of your old one first. It should be 100k Ohms at around 70degF.

Did not work
Installed in oven with new control and old control. Old control was my problem. However this thermistor did not turn burners off at selected temp from either control. Did not allow it to climb through 500°. Set control to 375°, but temp just kept climbing.
