Because they use Pigments to achieve the colour of the leather for lounges etc, some hair shampoo’s, colour dies, conditioners etc will remove the pigments in the leather. Some Sofa manufacturers offer 10 year warranties, but read the fine print, when it comes to finding out what is actually covered under the warranty. I recently purchased cream colored rocker recliners after previously owning brown leather which could be cleaned easily. They aren’t the most attractive options, but they are two sided, plenty long, stay in place pretty well, and protect my chair while being washable.
