I bought this bag specifically because it is light weight and it folds up. The idea is to keep this in my purse in case I need it and I know I will need it a lot because I live in one of those towns that requires businesses to charge for plastic bags (I do agree with the idea, but it can be inconvenient).For reference, the bag weighs 9.6oz and it can stand to be a wee bit lighter, because I have other foldable bags like this from other brands and in other styles that are pretty light. But for the purpose that I use it for (spare bag) that I can easily carry around is great. To compensate for extra weight (little as it is), the material does seem stronger than the other bags that I have. The bag is pretty comfortable, although I have not carried anything too heavy with it. I does fold back pretty easily for me even after using it. The foldable part converts into a pocket area when it is in bag form.I do also appreciate that you can buy these bags in many different colors for the same price. I picked red because it is my favorite color.

These backpacks are very durable and water proof. We took them on a rappelling adventure through waterfalls. All of our stuff stayed dry. Glad I had them.

Thought this was red but it is really dark pink. My fault for not reading it accurately. Folds up nicely. Lightweight. Zippers seem sturdy. Will be a nice addition to our hiking journey.

I bought 3 of these for my kids to use when they go to their grandparent's house. They are a great price and work perfectly fine! Seriously can't beat the price and they're a decent size and quality. I would definitely purchase more of these.
