I don’t like skinny legs but slimmer towards bottom are these?

I like these jeans because they are not skinny at the bottom. They are around the hip/waist area though comfortable though (I dont mind that). That was the whole reason I bought these. This is my 3rd pair and my favorite style and brand. I used to find them at Kohl’s but they have gone skinny bottom.

I wear a size 12 in gv "amanda" regular jeans. should i order a 12 or 14?

I wear a 12 in regular jeans and the size 12 is perfect in the Vanderbilt jeans. Something to consider is the length. I'm 5 feet 6 inches and the length that fit me best was short. The next length was too long which surprised me. Hope this helps
