The wool comes from the merino sheep of australia who are regarded as having the finest and softest wool of any sheep in the world. Because merino wool fibers are smaller in diameter and more numerous than coarser wools, it makes merino one of the softest, most durable and dense types of wool available. It is also naturally itch free. The benefits of the merino wool blanket are that it has an amazing warmth-to-weight ratio making it a perfect temperature regulating blanket that will keep you warmer in the winter months and cooler in the summer. The super-fine merino wool fibers naturally absorb and wick moisture (sweat) away from the skin keeping you drier and more comfortable. Due to its uniquely thin fibers the merino wool blanket does not retain odor because bacteria cannot find a solid surface to grow on. It is also hypo-allergenic, as is most wool. Our blankets are designed at creswick woollen mills in australia which was founded in 1947 and still operating today. Creswick woollen mills rigorously avoids the use of chemicals in production of our wool blankets and we make sure that all of our products are manufactured from 100-percent all-natural components making an already perfect blanket healthy. This luxurious twin size blanket measures an oversized 72-inch by 90-inch and includes a 1.5-inch triple stitched satin trim on all four sides to give it a clean crisp edge. Care instructions: machine wash cold with wool detergent, dry cleanable.

Great wool blanket!
I love good wool and this is a very nice blanket. Light weight and soft. I was worried about the fact the wool is shipped to China from Australia and its made there but the quality is there regardless of where its made. Its great wool. Very happy with the purchase.

High quality. Light and warm
Been using almost daily on our bed for a few years now. Very warm for its weight. Plenty soft enough for me...the wife thinks it’s a bit itchy though. Nothing a sheet can’t fix. Just can’t beat wool for a warm but not sweaty blanket...unless you go alpaca fiber. Don’t follow me down that rabbit hole though.

Sheds like no tomorrow
Sheds like it will disappear in a few months. Nightmare to have to clean your floor each day.Also it is not soft like other Merino wool

Staying warm and loving it!
This has been a life saver for me this winter. It keeps me warm and toasty and seems a good weight. A few minor gripes: I really looked hard and read the description. I had the impression this was produced in Australia but it turns out it is made in China. Ok, but why not be honest about it and let me decide? Second, it smelled weird on arrival. After washing it was better but it seemed to loose a whole lot of wool. It shed!

Not soft. Not worth the money. I returned.

Wish it were a little heavier
and softer and had more of a quality feel to it. It is okay but don't expect a good quality blanket from this. I like the color because it goes with my bedroom, so I'm keeping it.

This blanket was not as soft as I expected it to be, but it does look well constructed, the color is beautiful, and I am anticipating that it will last a lifetime.
