Is the velcro of this design easy to tear? Does the hip thrust pad slide up and down the bar?

Hello, the Velcro of this hip thrust pad is easy to fasten and tight. This design allows you to not need to take additional Velcro strips.

Does it roll, when doing hip trust. I hate that.

Hi, it won't roll when you do hip thrust. Different from the normal pads, this pad is specially designed to be square and ergonomic, avoid rolling when doing hip thrust. Just place order and try the style.

Anyone try this for zercher squats?

Thank you for your question The square is mainly used for hip thrusts, you can check out the round shoulder pads in the store, which are better for deep squats!

Most Comfortable - No Fidgeting

I had the standard pad, round with the opening that you have to be careful to keep the padded side on the bottom. I lost it and didn't love it so I was looking for something different. Love this! I'm just trying to get it done at the gym, and the fact that I don't have to fidget with this as i maneuver it into place from the ground to my hips makes the work out smoother. It's much more padded than the standard one.

Not for free form barbell hip thrusts

This was extremely painful to use. If you do barbell hip thrusts, it's comically too large to nestle between your thighs and stomach when tucked in to the starting position at the bottom of the hip thrust. Once elevated (which is painful to initiate and took my breath away because of how much it was pushing in to my stomach), you cannot get a full range of motion during the dip of your hip thrust.

Great for people with shoulder mobility issues

I have the worst shoulder mobility but can back squat with ease with this pad. It's thick and nice on the shoulders and can be used for the other mentioned exercises.I recommend this!!!
