I see the company is headquartered in michigan does anybody know where this product is "made". i'm trying as hard as possible to buy usa.?

When I was a kid, everything was made in Japan. Now we are saying the same thing about China. Bottomline, is it quality made or not. Btw, I like to buy "Made in America", too, but that is almost always not possible. Even if they say, "Made in America". Not all parts may be and most likely just means assembled in America. Btw, can you buy ANY car that is TOTALLY made and assembled in the USA?

Yes, rechargeable AAA batteries will work well with this product.

How many lumens per light?

Don't know. Doesn't say on the box. They do what we need them to do.....light stairs in a dark stairwell......we've mounted on the underside of the banister.

Will the strips damage apartment walls?

These are fantastic going to order more.No they will not damage walls.
