GMO= "Genetically Modified Organism" A company calling an inorganic substance that is or derived from a mineral seems dubious to me and most likely cashing in on the Organic market. The questions to ask are: what is the source? What processing method is used. The Solvay method: Although this method of producing baking soda ash is widely used, it is also problematic because the chemicals used in the process are pollutants and cause disposal problems. Its mined not made in a laboratory big difference if you don’t want to ingest poison arm and hammer is poison. Good to clean with though. This is for cooking. Very happy with this product.

I like dipping my toothbrush with toothpaste on it into bicarbonate soda and brushing my teeth. It gets the stains off and leave them looking brighter. I like this product because it's bicarbonate soda without any additives; it's cheaper without being a name brand, and it gets the job done.
