how can this be vegetarian with a picture of a cow on it?

Probably because you use this product with cow milk to make cheese. The product is vegetarian because of what is is made from... vegetarian rennet vs animal rennet which is made from the stomach of a cow.

will these work with almond, cashew or coconut milk? DO they conteina any dairy or soy? Thank you

Yes, I use it in soy milk and have been pleased with it.

I got a different brand of rennet here on amazon and it's sucks! I ended up buying this and it worked on the first try to make mozzarella cheese.
