Are these needles round or do they have a flat side?

These needles are round. They are made for industrial machines. In my experience only home use machines needles have a flat side. I use several different industrial machines and dp x 17 needles are for the most heavy duty machines so have a care that you are buying the appropriate needles for your machine.
