I had the same problem. The design of this adapter is the problem. Because it only has one tab, it pushes the pen off center. I've since bought some adapters that have two tabs. They work better. The only possible thing you could do is to move the drawn part of your design a little bit to compensate before attaching the design.

Can you use this with Cricut Watercolor pens?

Yes. You can use it to fit any of the Cricut pens for the Explore and Maker into the Joy. However, the design causes it to draw off center. There are adapters that have two tabs instead of one. This keeps the pen centered better in the clamp.

Perfect for for Cricut pens to my Cricut Joy

I love this adapter, now I can use the pens/markers meant for Cricut Maker/Explore to my Cricut Joy. I will use this primarily for Infusible ink pens/markers because there are limited colors of infusible ink pens/markers for Cricut Joy sold here in Singapore. It’s a bit pricy but worth it plus this is the only adapter for Cricut Joy.

The perfect solution!

I recently purchased a Cricut Joy Xtra, along with a lot of the compatible pens, but I found that some of the colors I wanted were only available for the larger machines and not the Joy Xtra. I wanted a way to use those pens in my machine, and that's when I came across this adapter. It’s the perfect solution!
